Saffron Intensive Moisturising BALM
The Saffron Intensive moisturising balm is a topical treatment for dry skin conditions including, but not limited to Eczema and Psoriasis.
The active ingredient in this intensive moisturising balm is pure saffron which has many skin healing properties and has been used in countries all over the world to repair skin damage and brighten the skin. This is an all-natural, handmade product and does not contain any steroids or any added fragrances.
The Egyptians preserved their writings on papyrus and on cave walls using beeswax, and these writings have remained unchanged for more than 2,000 years. They even recognized the importance of beeswax in health, as prescriptions dating back to 1550 B.C. called for beeswax in various formulations.
Saffron is largely cultivated and harvested by hand. Due to the amount of labour involved in harvesting, saffron is considered one of the world's most expensive spices. The stigmas are also used to make medicine.
How to use:
ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST beforehand to check for sensitivity. To be used daily as a moisturiser. Apply with fingers on the affected area and massage it in. product may stain. You may re apply throughout the day if the dry skin surfaces to keep it nourished and moisturised. Can be applied to children 6 months plus.
If you have sensitive skin, Always be your own advocate and test a new skincare product for a reaction before changing your routine.
Safe testing of new products can prevent you from suffering with a rash or breakout.
THERE ARE 2 STAGES OF A TRIAL TEST.
Don't risk an allergic reaction by unthinkingly slathering a new product all over your face or body. Instead, do a simple patch test. Remember that the skin on your face is usually more sensitive than the skin on the rest of your body.
Start with a patch test on an invisible portion of your leg or arm, such as behind your knee or inside your elbow. If that application produces no reaction within 24 hours, it's time to assess how the product will perform on your face.
STEP 2 (trial on the face)
Pick a small area of your face and apply the product. If there's no reaction, the product is probably safe for you to use. Use the product once and wait 24-48 hours to see how it goes before introducing daily routine.
SENSITIVE SKIN IS DIFFERENT
it's tempting to use every item at once. People with sensitive skin can't take this risk. Introduce one new product at a time, waiting about a week before moving on to the next step. Watch carefully for weals, redness, itching, burning, peeling, or other danger signs.
If your skin is very sensitive, consider eliminating all of your old products too and adding them back gradually in the same vein. The reason is simple: a product that works well on its own or within a brand's coordinated line may interact adversely with another product
CAUTION: Please always do a trial test to check for sensitivity before starting a routine. As all individuals have different skin types, some products may cause irritation as we do not dilute our ingredients and thus are potent. By purchasing this product you agree to have read the terms and conditions of sale and our return policy which can be found under policy tab.
