Pure Skin Quench Hyaluronic Acid

Pure Skin Quench is plant based Hyaluronic Acid which increases skin moisture and is amazing for those who are dehydrated. Microscopic skin surface analysis shows increased skin smoothness, and amelioration of wrinkles. Skin Quench will firm and plump your skin to give you a more youthful look as it absorbs deeper into the inner skin layers. Our Hyaluronic Acid is plant based. (2%HA)

Hyaluronic Acid helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles retaining moisture to the skin, creating a plumping effect. When the skin is protected and hydrated, increased skin cell production can take place, as the skin isn't busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells. To make the most out of hyaluronic acid as an anti-aging ingredient, use it in the form of serum or drops and apply it on damp skin, then apply a moisturizer on top. This will seal in the moisture and also provide moisture for the HA to absorb, should the air around you be dry. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. It is found in the highest concentrations in fluids in the eyes and joints.

Aqua, Hyaluronic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, 30ml

As this is a natural, handmade product, the colour, scent and texture may vary from batch to batch.

Plant-based Hyaluronic Acid is extracted from microbial fermentation. This is a fancy way of saying that a bacterial strain naturally contains Hyaluronic Acid and is then fermented to yield the desired molecular weights ideal for skin care purposes. Some plant-based Hyaluronic Acid may contain wheat. Hyaluronic acid can be made several different ways - animal derived, plant derived, from bacteria or synthetically in a lab - but still completely safe and toxin-free. Animal Derived - When animal derived it is taken from the joints or eyeballs of slaughtered cows/horses or made from the combs of chickens.

How to use:

ALWAYS DO A PATCH TEST beforehand to check for sensitivity. Apply 1-2 pumps of skin quench into your palm and then massage it in to your skin. This is fast absorbent. For best application apply it on damp skin. As this is a natural and organic product, it is normal for the texture to be thinner as we do not use any fillers.

If you have sensitive skin, Always be your own advocate and test a new skincare product for a reaction before changing your routine.

Patch test recommendation:

Don't risk an allergic reaction by slathering a new product all over your face or body. Instead, do a simple patch test. Remember that the skin on your face is usually more sensitive than the skin on the rest of your body.

STEP 1 Start with a patch test on an invisible portion of your leg or arm, such as behind your knee or inside your elbow. If that application produces no reaction within 24 hours, it's time to assess how the product will perform on your face.

STEP 2 (trial on the face) Pick a small area of your face and apply the product. If there is no reaction, the product may be safe for you to use. Use the product once and wait 24-48 hours to assess how it goes before introducing it into your daily routine.

It's tempting to use every item at once. People with sensitive skin can't take this risk. Introduce one new product at a time, waiting about a week before moving on to the next step. Watch carefully for weals, redness, itching, burning, peeling, or other signs.

If your skin is very sensitive, consider eliminating all of your old products too and adding them back gradually. The reason is simple: a product that works well on its own or within a brand's coordinated line may interact adversely with another product

CAUTION: Please always do a trial test to check for sensitivity before starting a routine. As all individuals have different skin types, some products may cause irritation as we do not dilute our ingredients and thus are potent. By purchasing this product you agree to have read the terms and conditions of sale and our return policy which can be found under the policy tab.
