We understand that having marks and scars showing on the body can dampen our confidence. Lets take the band aid off straight away so then we can actually start to look how we can move forward. There's no known way to make scars totally disappear, but many will become lighter over time on their own. That being said, advocates of natural healing believe that there are remedies that can speed up the lightening process and make a scar less noticeable.
Scarring is part of the body's natural healing process after tissue is damaged. Although scars are permanent, they can fade over a period of up to 2 years. It's unlikely they'll fade any more after this time.
Everyone is different and heals at different rates. In general, it takes about six to eight weeks to fully remodel injured tissue in the body. Just remember to take it slow and provide a nice, long duration low-load stress to your scar tissue.
The other marks and scaring that occur on the body is cellulite. Tough, long connective cords pull down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling, often referred to as cellulite. Cellulite is a very common, harmless skin condition that causes lumpy, dimpled flesh on the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen.
Exercises that may help get rid of cellulite. Certain leg and glute exercises may help tighten the skin around the thigh region. In turn, you may also see a reduction in cellulite. While exercise isn't a fool proof way to get rid of cellulite on the thighs, stronger muscles and tighter skin may reduce its appearance.
